Dear Phamish Phans,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you that Phamish will be taking a hiatus from food truck operations until further notice, effective immediately. The reason being are the principals of our day to day operations are facing some serious health issues. Momma Le has two herniated discs in her neck that require spinal surgery and our brother Hai who only has a single kidney and it is failing. We are taking this time off so they can get the treatment, rest, and recovery time that they need as well as spend some quality time with the Phamily. We want to thank everyone for their support for the past two years. We have gotten to know many of you and am proud to call you friends. We <3 you and will miss you all dearly. Goodbye our fellow truckers. It’s been quite the adventure and we will miss the camaraderie. Our last service will be a pop-up dinner @ Seesaw in San Francisco this coming weekend. Hopefully Phamish will not be out for the count and we may make a comeback in a different form. So long and and thanks for all the fish!

I am so sad!!! I work at the Variety Building and ALWAYS order Tofu Bun and it is my favorite lunch! Life has been much darker without your wonderful food and love! Please take care and heal yourselves! Peace!
Speaking for Anh and I (Don), the 2 Asian guys that drive long distances to follow the Phamish Truck and in Anh’s case rap in Viet , wish you the best and hope Momma and Hai recover from their health challenges. We were late in finding out about the hiatus as it was about a month after the posting when we finally read the news.
Both of us feel Momma and the crew served the best home cooking around and cannot emphasize enough how we hope for a full recovery. Happy Holidays!
