We would like to ask you to keep our Phamily member Hai Tran in your thoughts and prayers. He is our driver and cook whom without Phamish would not be where we are today. Hai spends two hours every morning to pick up the delicious bread from our supplier in the OC. Now that’s dedication. He has been more than a driver & cook, he has been a son, a brother and more to us.  In the past few months, his health has taken a turn for the worse. You see Hai only has one kidney. He lost the other one in the first Iraq war. Sadly his remaining kidney is failing and he is in need of a donor. He is currently on the waiting list for a kidney but unfortunately he does not have much time left, 6 months or so, and the list is long. Hai is such a caring and giving person who took care of his dying mother until her death earlier this year. He was also taking care of his ill father driving him back and forth to San Diego on the weekends for therapy. Such a kind and self sacrificing person deserves to continue on living. We ask if anyone is willing to be tested for a kidney donation, to please contact us @ donor@phamish.com. We are planning to get tested ourselves and hope one of us is a match for him. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and send all the positive energy you can. We <3 you Hai!

Dear Fans,

I know many of you have been clamoring for our Pho. We listened and brought it back this week. However we have run into some complications that is forcing us take it off the menu again for the Summer. Let us explain. You see Pho is difficult to make. We either make the broth the night before or at the crack of dawn in order to get the flavorful and hearty broth you have come to love. Over the course of this week,  we have noticed that due to the hot weather, the broth does not keep very well and can easily spoil. We only want to serve you the very best food product that we can and due to the hot weather and being in a truck, we are sad to say we cannot serve you our Pho in good conscience. Don’t worry we will bring it back when the hot weather subsides, either in the Fall or Winter. Thank you for understanding.

Make no mistake: LaBonge wants the food trucks that make LA a unique place to disappear. This is dangerous territory they are treading on.

They’re at it again

He quotes on his website “Let’s continue to enjoy and love the great City of Los Angeles.”, but his actions are counter to his words. It’s time to show him how you want to continue and enjoy our great city with your quotes.

The Phamily @ Phamish understand how important it is to vote for someone who will stand up for your rights. That is why we are backing Betsy Butler for Assembly. She is a champion of innovation and consumer choice and her support for the food truck industry shows exactly that. So if you live in the 53rd district, please vote. If you don’t please get the word out to your friends via Facebook, Twitter, or TEXT (not while driving).

Dear Fans,

As you may have heard, our truck was taken hostage and it has now turned into a legal issue that we cannot discuss at this time. It kind of sucks and we are sorry for the downtime. When life gives us lemons we make lemon mint soda! We are going to take this opportunity to improve ourselves by getting a custom truck made so we can better serve you. This will take a month or two for us to implement. In the meantime we have a temporary truck that will serve all the food you have come to love with the exception of Pho. We promise to bring Pho back once our new truck is ready. We’re also planning a new delicious dish for the summer that we will announce soon. Please look for our temporary truck in the meantime. It is silver with a yellow banner (pictured below) and before you know it you will see our new truck with the familiar bright yellow background with bamboo and the Phamish girl. We want to thank everyone for your continued support and patronage. See you on streets!

<3,

The Phamish Team

We would like to thank everyone who came by our truck today! We appreciate your support.

Sorry for the slow service today. It was our first time at the Silverlake Art Craft & Vintage Market and we were not prepared for how busy we got. Our bad. Now we know (and knowing is half the battle! Yo Joe!) and we promise to be better prepared next time by bringing more staff and improving our process so you can have a better and quicker service experience. Thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding.

Also big thanks to Fiora and Chenoa, the organizers of the event, for having us. They also run a gallery in Melrose called Ghetto Gloss. Check it out!

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great Chinese New Year & V Day celebration. Thanks to everyone who came out to the LA Street Food Fest and stopped by our booth. We appreciate your support!

We are trying out some new locations this week and can use your help to spread the word to your friends in the area.

First up we’re starting adding lunch service from 11am-2pm in El Segundo by China Airlines (200 Continental Blvd. Next to Raytheon Building in general parking lot) on Tuesdays & Fridays. We’re continuing our service to our awesome patrons at 5900 Wilshire Blvd on Wednesdays & Thursdays.

We’re going to give UCLA (Strathmore Drive & Gayley Ave) & USC (Jefferson Blvd & Mc Clinktock Ave) some love and bring our pho to their respective hoods for dinner service from 4pm-9pm throughout the week. UCLA we’re working on coming on campus for lunch service. Stay tuned.

Unfortunately that means we’ve had to cut our dinner service to WLA @ Sawtelle Blvd & Olympic Blvd to once a week on Friday for dinner service. We still <3 you but due to increasing complaints from local businesses it’s been harder to find parking there.

We going to be switching it up a bit for weekend lunch service from 3pm-9pm. On Saturdays we will be in WLA (Pico Blvd & Malcom Ave) across the street from the Westside Pavilion in front of Fancy Nails, a business owned by our Phamily member Tanya Vo, from 3pm-9pm. On Sundays will be in Venice (Abbot Kinney Blvd & Millwood Ave).

Lastly, we’re starting a new bar/late night service from 10pm-2am on Fridays & Saturdays for all you night owls. We will be hanging out with our friends at The Garter (Lincoln Blvd & Grant Ave) in Venice this Friday and at Bar 4100 (Sunset Blvd & Manzanita St) in Silverlake on Saturday. We will be passing out coupons for patrons of the bars so come on out, grab a few drinks with your friends and try some of our delicious food.

Other locations we are working on for the future are UCLA for Lunch service, CNN Building in Hollywood for lunch service, FIDM in Downtown for lunch service, and a few more bars for our late night serive. If you have any ideas our suggestions we would love to hear them.
